Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them is the latest film project of the director Davis Yates, and it is also J.K. Rowling's debut as screenplayer. This new Rowling's project tell us about the adventures of Newt Scamander. A film full of adventure and fantasy, it is great for families. And as the same J.K. Rowling said, "this is neither a prequel nor a sequel to the Harry Potter series, but an extension of the wizarding world. Newt's story will start in New York, seventy years before Harry gets underway." Plus, it has been confirmed that instead of a trilogy, the Scamander's adventures will be a 5 part movie series, for which Rowling will be writing the screenplays.

My philosophy is if you worry, you suffer twice.Newt Scamander.

As you can suppose from the name of the movie, Newt carry fantastic animals wherever he goes, because he takes care of them and because there is no-one who knows them better than him. However, it is in one of these trips that something interrupt the safety of No-Maj people when one of his beats started to his tricks. Newt's adventures began when he arrived to the big city of New York. In that moment, he was bringing a small briefcase that keep things 'safe' for his adventures.

No-Maj: Term that people with magical powers use to refer to people without powers. The same concept is used in the Harry Potter's saga, but with a different name –Muggles.

One of the many things we liked was the variety of animals that Newt Scamander takes care of. He keeps them safe from people who want hurt them in an unusual place for No-Maj people. It is a briefcase full of nature and, of course, full of magic. Furthermore, this incredible and magic briefcase remained us of the Hermione Grander's beaded handbag, because as you may know she used to keep many things inside.

This film also has some funny parts, and one of them was when one of the beasts that Newt has, called Niffler, appears stealing all kinds of objects, principally shiny things. This animal is a mixture of a duck-billed platypus and a mole. Basically, the beginning of the movie is related to Niffler, because he starts stealing many things and keeping them safe in his 'pocket'. He was going over many buildings, searching for valuable and shiny objects.

This movie is a very entertaining film, and we could say that it is more exciting for people who are absolutely fans of the Harry Potter's saga, although it does not have a lot of connections with those films. It makes references to some details such as the name of the school and its headmaster. We would recommend this movie for those who want to know a little more about the magical world which was created by the incredible writer JK Rowling.
